WHAT’S THIS SITE ABOUT?

Hello, my name is John Illingworth and I’ve been taking photographs for as long as I can remember, usually snaps on holidays. About twenty five years ago photography became very important to me. I wanted to create images that other people could enjoy. Landscapes that reflect the places I visit are my preferred subjects and this site is full of my favourite places and photographs. Enjoy!
